The lounge/dining room is unusually large, as this has been extended to incorporate what used to be the third bedroom. This room has air-conditioning/heating, two ceiling fan lights, 2 & 3 seater sofas and a double sofa bed, digital sky TV with English and Spanish channels, DVD player (please take your own DVD's), coffee table. The Dining area has a radio/CD player, dining table and 6 chairs. Patio doors lead from the lounge onto a large balcony, with full size canopy, this catches the afternoon sun. The separate tiled kitchen is well equipped. It has a fridge, freezer, electric fan oven and halogen hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, washing machine, iron and ironing board. The first bedroom has two single beds (can be pushed together), bedside lamp, bedside cabinet, fitted wardrobe, radio/alarm clock and ceiling fan light. The second bedroom has 2 single beds (can be pushed together), bedside cabinet, bedside lamps, ceiling fan light and radio/alarm clock. There is a tiled bathroom with new suite comprising bath, over the bath shower, shower screen, sink with vanity unit, mirror with lighting, toilet. Stairs leading to the apartment continue to a large private roof top solarium with sea views for all day sunbathing. This area has a large canopy, an electricity supply socket, wall lights, a table and six chairs, 4 sunloungers, 2 reclining chairs, stone BBQ and a washing line. The apartment has security shutters, lockable stair and roof gates. Torrevieja is a bustling town and popular resort, renowned for its large saltwater lakes that help to make the area one of the healthiest in Europe. The average 320 days sunshine each year makes it an ideal summer or winter holiday location. There is a large marina, harbour and a beautiful sea front promenade with an evening market and funfair. The Torrevieja Friday morning market is the biggest in Spain. There is also a large market within walking distance of the apartment every Saturday. Beaches are about 5 minutes drive, 20 minutes walk. Benidorm and Alicante with their numerous attractions are within driving distance. The old town of Murcia takes you inland for beautiful architecture and tranquillity. The Mar Menor is a wonderful setting for water sports. Playa Flamenca, just south of Torrevieja, boast an Aqua Park, horse-riding and go-karting. The Blue Flag beaches running down the coast have endless pretty coves with golden sand. The area has something for every age group and yet is not a package holiday resort, catering for Spanish holidaymakers and people who own or rent property in the area. The apartment is cleaned on your departure, bed linen and towels (not beach/pool towels) are provided. A car is recommended. No smoking in the apartment / no pets. The apartment is suitable for families, golfers and couples. Alicante airport is approximately 40 minutes (N332 costal road), Murcia airport being 35 minutes drive.
